Why Taji Publishing House?

Africa is home to 17% of the world’s population but produces only 3% of its books and consumes 12% of them. Ninety five per cent of books published in Africa are Educational Books

Taji Publishing House is founded on a passion to insert Africa’s voice authoritatively into the global conversation. We recognise our continent as replete with compelling knowledge, stories, ideas and insights. We conceive our task as mining this rich content, refining it, processing it, packaging it and disseminating it as widely as possible in order to enrich the world.

According to estimates, by 2050, a quarter of the world's people will be Africans. By the time that happens, our vision is that 25% of the world's books will be produced in Africa and 25% of the world's books will be consumed in Africa.
